Groundswell is Hiring

Groundswell International is hiring! We have two new positions available to join our growing team: Operations Coordinator (full-time based in Washington, DC) and Communications and Marketing Consultant (part-time, preferably located in DC). Founded in 2009, our mission is to strengthen rural communities to build healthy farming and food systems from the ground up. We function as a partnership, bringing together staff, partner organizations and allies with decades of grounded experience in supporting these processes. We currently work with partners and programs in 10 countries: Burkina Faso, Ecuador, Ghana, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mali, Nepal, Senegal and the U.S. Together we are: enabling hundreds of thousands of family farmers to improve their lives; spreading effective strategies to improve farming and local food systems; and working for supportive policies.

The purpose of the Communications and Marketing Consultant is to ensure effective communications and marketing of Groundswell International’s work, using tools including social media, in order to accomplish our mission and support resource development.
