Get Involved

Volunteers participating in a team-building activity at Groundswell's founding conference.
Groundswell invites you to join the movement to build a new food and agriculture paradigm, and offers many ways for you to get involved with our work.
Donate – Invest in concrete, efficient actions support positive change in rural farming communities around the world. Setting up a monthly gift is a great way to support Groundswell all year. Monthly giving is important because it provides the steady, dependable resources we need to support the local capacity building that is fundamental to true people centered development.
Organize or attend an event – Attend a Groundswell-sponsored event, or better yet, organize one yourself. We will work with you to plan it. Groundswell Garden Parties are one event you could organize, though we encourage you to design and host events that are compelling to you.
Spread the word – Tell your friends and family about what Groundswell is doing and the global challenges we are working to overcome. Encourage people to like our Facebook page, follow us on Twitter, read our blog, and sign up for our monthly e-newsletter.
Volunteer your time – We need many talented organizers and a few social networking gurus to help spread the word. Please check out our website or send us an email to inquire about these and other needs.
Participate in a study tour – Beginning in 2012, Groundswell will organize travel to program sites around the world, providing people with opportunities to learn more about our partners, why our approach is so successful, and the communities that are at the forefront of the global agroecology and healthy food systems movements.
